ACCEPT:
Sound- 5 - Have to turn it up all the way to make out anything. Keep in mind the age of the show when considering these ratings.
Trax- Starlight, Thunder and Lightning, Do It, Save Us, Feelings,
Breaker, Run If You Can, Tired of Me, (unknown song- possibly a cover of
another band's song), Son of a Bitch, Midnight Highway, The King, Free Me
Now, Drum Solo, Guitar solo, Sounds of War, I'm a Rebel, Down and Out, Burning
Sound- 7
Trax- Starlight, Thunder and Lightning, Do It, Breaker, Run If You Can, Son Of a Bitch, Midnight Highway, Free Me Now, Solo-Wolf, Sounds of War, I'm a Rebel, Burning
Additional Notes- An absolute cool as hell ending!
Stefan lights his stix on fire and Wolf catches his guitar on fire off them.
Trax- Metal Heart, Breaker (cut off early),
I'm a Rebel (song video), Screaming For a Lovebite, Up to the Limit, Living
For Tonight, Princess of the Dawn, Midnight Mover (song video), Restless and
Wild, Son of a Bitch, Balls to the Wall (song video- black and white), London
Leatherboys, Fast as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Trax- same as documentary version
Additional notes- This version cuts away from the concert in the same
places as the other version.
Sound- 6
Trax- Metal Heart, Breaker, Love Child, Turn Me On, London Leatherboys, Wrong Is Right, Princess of the Dawn, Head Over Heals, Winterdreams, Guitar Solo, Midnight Mover, Screaming For a Lovebite, Too High To Get It Right, Living For Tonight, Up to the Limit, Burning, Fast as a Shark, Restless and Wild, Balls to the Wall
Additional Notes- The crowd must have been getting a little out of
control. I can't clearly make out what is going on, but it looks as though
Udo tells the crowd to "keep back".
Sound- 7
Trax- TV War, Living For Tonight, Monsterman, London Leatherboys,
Wrong Is Right, Princess of the Dawn, Bass solo/Intro, Heaven is Hell, Guitar
Solo, Restless and Wild, Son of a Bitch, Breaker, Love Child, Up to the Limit,
Metal Heart, Russian Roulette, Fast as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Sound- 7 1/2
Trax- TV War, Living For Tonight, Monsterman, London Leatherboys, Heaven is Hell, Screaming For a Lovebite, Up to the Limit, Metal Heart, Balls to the Wall
Additional Notes- Clearly the best 1986 video show that I know of
out there.
Sound- 5 - Distorted, often screaching.
Trax- Heaven is Hell, Screaming For a Lovebite, Up to the Limit, Metal
Heart, Balls to the Wall
Sound- 8- Not what you'd expect for a TV show. Some songs sounded like 9's, other's like 7's... inconsistent.
Trax- Starlight, Slaves to the Metal, Screaming
For a Lovebite, London Leatherboys, Breaker, Interview w/ wolf and peter,
Objection Overruled, Up to the Limit, Burning, Metal Heart, Fast as a Shark,
Balls to the Wall
Sound- 8
Trax- Starlight, Living For Tonight, Slaves to the Metal, Screaming For a Lovebite, London Leatherboys, Breaker, Bulletproof, Princess of the Dawn, Neon Nights, Winterdreams, Animal House, Restless and Wild, Son of a Bitch, TV War, Too High To Get It Right, The King, X-T-C, Up to the Limit, Objection Overruled, Burning, Metal Heart, Fast as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Additional Notes- I think this is a must because of the unusual setlist,
and it's the longest show out there. It's a real treat to hear Udo singing
X-T-C!
Sound- 9
Trax- X-T-C (ending), Objection Overruled, Up to the Limit, Burning, Metal Heart, Fast as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Additional Notes- This is only about half of the show. Just to add
to the picture rating, we even get a nice shot of the ceiling during the
crowd cheer for the first encore. Trust me, get a hold of the audio tape
version of this show instead (the best sounding concert in the universe).
Sound 10
Trax- Too High To Get It Right (ending), The King, guitar solo, Flash
Rockin' Man, Objection Overruled, Up to the Limit, Burning, Metal Heart, Fast
as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Sound- 9
Trax- Starlight, Living For Tonight, Screaming For a Lovebite, London Leatherboys, I Don't Wanna Be like You, Restless and Wild, Son of a Bitch, Breaker, Princess of the Dawn (bass solo included), Guitar solo, Neon Nights, Slaves to the Metal, This One's for You, Bulletproof, Too High To Get It Right, Up to the Limit, Burning, Metal Heart, Fast as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Additional notes- Cool shot of the banner outside the place before
the show. Brief shots of a mosh pit!! This concert is best remembered for
Too High To Get It Right. At the beginning, Wolf's equipment goes out. He
quickly switches guitars and moves on. Then half way thru the song it happens
again, this time he's missing in action for over 2 minutes! The other 3 do
a great job of carrying on without him. Wolf finally comes back for the end
of the song and Udo gives out a little chuckle at the end :-) In my opinion
one of the top 3 Accept videos!
Trax- Starlight, Living For Tonight, Restless and Wild, Son of a Bitch, I Don't Wanna Be Like You, Princess of the Dawn (includes bass solo), Slaves to the Metal, Bulletproof, Up to the Limit, Metal Heart, Fast as a Shark, Balls to the Wall
Additional notes- The sound missing on the first minute of the show
is on all the existing copies I think. A tripod was used, and the shots are
so close you feel like you're stading on stage watching it!. Peter has equipment
problems on a couple songs and beats up on his stacks! The bouncers are kept
real busy in this one!
Sound- 9
Trax- What Else, Up to the Limit, I Don't Wanna Be Like You, Breaker, London Leatherboys, Bad Habits Die Hard, Stone Evil, Slaves to the Metal, Princess of the Dawn, Sodom & Gomorra, Bulletproof, Too High To Get It Right, Metal Heart, Death Row, Fast as a Shark
Notes- Not a complete show, Balls is missing.
Sound- 10 - Made for TV
Notes- Only interview I know of including Michael.
Trax- Restless and Wild, Son of a Bitch, Living For Tonight, London Leatherboys, Monsterman, Flash Rockin' Man, Slaves to the Metal, Breaker, Crossroads, It Ain't Over Yet, Princess of the Dawn, Bad Habits Die Hard, Hard Attack, Bulletproof, Fast as a Shark, Metal Heart, Making Me Scream, I'm a rebel, Burning, Balls to the Wall
Notes- Some might put this ahead of Brooklyn....
it's a close, close second I think. A must if not for anything else for the
scorching setlist! Michael kicks ass at the end of Making Me Scream, even
loses a drumstick :-), and gets introduced to the crowd after the song by
Udo.....this happens in Buenos Aires 96 too, but this version is better!
Sound- 9
Trax- Animal House, Go Back To Hell, Interview, They Want War, Interview, Warrior, In the Darkness
Notes- The interviews are lengthy (2nd one is over 10 minutes), with
Udo and Mathias, and all in German...which sucks for most of us. They Want
War is a combination of footage from the song video and the concert.
Sound- 9
Trax- Painted Love (2nd half)- Mean Machine, We're History, Dirty
Boys, Fast as a Shark, They Want War
Notes- The best UDO video by far!!
Sound- 8
Trax- Break the Rules, Animal House, Independence
Day, Metal Eater, Two Faced Woman, Stone Evil, Princess of the Dawn, In the
Darkness, Metal Heart, The Punisher, Bulletproof, Living on a Frontline, Balls
to the Wall, Metal Gods, Monsterman, I'm a Rebel, They Want War, Fast as
a Shark
Sound- 6- Faint
Trax- Independence Day, Son of a Bitch, Two Faced Woman, Stone Evil, Princess of the Dawn
Additional Notes- The vocals are a little bit
too prominent...especially backing on ID. The band's "AhAhAh- AhAhAh" towards
the end is almost comical!
Sound- 9
Trax- Stone Evil, Animal House, Independence Day, Metal Eater, Desperate Balls, Princess of the Dawn, In the Darkness, Metal Heart, Monsterman, Too High To Get It Right, Balls to the Wall, Metal Gods, I'm a Rebel, Fast as a Shark
Notes- Stefan S. body surfs at the very end after the final bow!! I was a little disapointed when I first watched this show. Don't get me wrong, it's a great show....but when (I'm assuming the people that filmed it) tried to sell it to me, I was told this show quality wise just blew all the other shows away. Not true at all, and just because 2 cameras were used doesn't make it awesome either. The sharpness and clarity doesn't come anywhere close to a TV broadcast show like Finland 91....and I would also put Brooklyn and Buenos Aires 93 and Copenhagen 96 all ahead of this show in terms of picture.
Miscues- Someone missed a note or was off early
on in Independence Day, but the band quickly recovers. Udo's mic seems to
be out for almost 1/2 of Metal Heart. Udo almost intros Monsterman as comming
from the Restless and Wild album and catches himself.
Sound- 8
Trax- Stone Evil, Animal House, Independence
Day, Metal Eater, Desperate Balls, Princess of the Dawn, In the Darkness,
Metal Heart, Monsterman, Too High To Get It Right, Balls to the Wall, Metal
Gods, I'm a Rebel, Fast as a Shark
Sound- 6 1/2- Very choppy!
Trax- Break the Rules, Animal House, Independence Day, Metal Eater, Two Faced Woman, Stone Evil, Princess of the Dawn, In the Darkness, Metal Heart, The Punisher, Monsterman, Bulletproof, Living on a Frontline, Balls to the Wall, Metal Gods, I'm a Rebel, They want war, Fast as a Shark
Notes- At the end of Metal Heart, Stefan S.
gets a little over excited. He stands up on his kit and starts drumming on
the lighting equipment on the ceiling and a neon light fixture falls and
dangles above the stage! Udo busts out laughing. An equipment dude duct tapes
the fixture back to the ceiling during the next song.
Sound-7
Trax- Stone Evil, Animal House, Independence Day, Metal Eater, Two Faced Woman, Desperate Balls, Princess of the Dawn, In the Darkness, Metal Heart, Break the Rules, Monsterman, Too High To Get It Right, Balls to the Wall, Metal Gods, They Want War, I'm A Rebel
Aditional Notes- There's also two brief breaks
(probably battery changes). Wild crowd!
Notes- The stage lights on this show are really
great considering this ain't the 80s anymore :-) Very good quality show!
Notes- All these songs yet only 38 minutes......well
it's just portions of the songs. A very rough crowd held back by a fence and
about a hundred guards dressed like military personel!
Sound- 9
Trax- Metal Heart, Independence Day, Restless
and Wild, Son of a Bitch, No Limits, Back With a Vengeance, Animal House,
Metal Gods, Up to the Limit, Balls to the Wall, Princess of the Dawn, I'm
a Rebel, Fast as a Shark
Sound- 8
Trax- Holy, Raiders of Beyond, Midnight Mover, Independence Day, Metal Eater, drum solo, London Leatherboys, No Limits, Winterdreams, Metal Heart, Living On a Frontline, Restless and Wild, Son of a Bitch, Balls to the Wall, Princess of the Dawn (battery runs out midway thru this song- show ended with I'm a Rebel and Fast as a Shark)
Notes- This is a master copy that I personally
filmed. The minor problems with it stemed from this being my first attempt
ever at filming a show. Additional notes about the taping of this show can
be found on my Tour 2000 page. I am visible in
the song Metal Heart. My wife taped that song.
Sound- 10
Trax- (a "//" idicates a change in venue, songs taken from 5 shows) Fast as a Shark, Ahead of the Pack, Starlight// TV War, Restless and Wild, Losers and Winners, Turn Me On// Metal Heart, Restless and Wild, Losers and Winners, Up to the Limit, Flash Rockin' Man, Princess of the Dawn, Dogs on Leads, Balls to the Wall// Son of a Bitch, Starlight, London Leatherboys, Fight it Back// Ahead of the Pack, Midnight Mover, Balls to the Wall
Notes- The only drawback to this video is that the crowd is not into the show at all at any of the shows. I would be, because this is a great tribute band! If you liked the tribute cd, this video is a must!
